Missoula County supports HB 53, Revise Big Sky Economic Development Trust Fund program, up for hearing tomorrow morning in the Business and Labor Committee. The revisions to the BSTF program will positively impact the program’s flexibility and expand the eligible applicant pool that will help leverage the program statewide. Furthermore, the additional $2,500 incentive for jobs that meet the “good-paying job” criteria could encourage creation of above-average county wage jobs and enhance Missoula County’s economy.
