Missoula County supports HB 195, Provide for local option luxury sales tax to fund infrastructure, before House Taxation tomorrow morning. As you know, local government is in dire need of mitigating impacts to local property tax payers in its delivery of critical public services. Providing voters an opportunity to decide if this approach is tenable gives local government another option in developing budgets and making funding decisions.
