Missoula County supports HB 236, Generally revise building code program laws, up for hearing this afternoon in the Local Government Committee. If passed, this bill would allow the Building Codes Division to save two years' worth of revenue to better weather economic downturns, and save for large capital improvements, such as software and hardware upgrades, mobile device purchases and vehicle purchases. All of this would allow us to better serve our public.
