While a good idea on the surface I think there are several technical issues with a bill like this. The $45,000 mentioned in the fiscal note will most likely not cover the costs of purchasing a system like this. There is also no provision for ongoing maintenance. I don't think the bill adequately addresses the addition administrative overhead at both the State and local school district level.
