Missoula County supports SB 95: Revise gun laws related to people convicted of stalking or domestic violence, before the Senate Judiciary Committee tomorrow at 9 a.m. SB 95 expands the list of crimes for which a person can be convicted of and automatically lose their gun privileges with regards to domestic violence cases. The crimes listed are commonly charged in cases where domestic violence is a factor. This closes a loophole that previously existed. It is imperative for the safety of domestic violence victims that their abusers do not have access to firearms.
