Sent 2/22: Missoula County supports HB 411: Revise laws related to AIS expenditures and funding, up for hearing this afternoon in the House Natural Resources Committee. Funding for Montana’s AIS program is critically important in the effort to prevent the spread of invasive species to Montana’s precious waters. In addition, we support the continuation of the fee assessed to hydro power producing facilities as they can sometimes cause the spread of invasive species. Thank you, Representative Curdy, for carrying this bill.
