Missoula County supports SB 232, Allow counties to pay for a polling location in certain circumstance, on the House floor this afternoon. County governments can always use more tools to provide safe, efficient, secure elections. Adding this option expands Missoula County’s ability to do that.
Missoula County continues to support SB 162 and SB 232, as amended, on the Senator floor this afternoon. SB 162 would provide for more comprehensive election results across precincts to be delivered earlier upon closing of the polls. This bill would allow staff to begin this process sooner and avoid human error caused by exhaustion. SB 232 would expand Missoula County’s ability to utilize more tools to provide safe, efficient, secure elections.
