Diane Sands (D) SD 49
Generally revise laws regarding sexual consent

  1. Sent February 26:

    Senators,

Missoula County supports SB 261, up for hearing this afternoon on the Senate Floor. Imbalances of power in relationships can be abused and used to victimize people. The bill further refines protections for individuals who are vulnerable to situations where coercion may be used against them, particularly where the abuse can come from a person employed by the public – such as police officers, case workers in mental health facilities, etc. Senator Sands, thank you for carrying this bill.

    Please support SB 261.
